The Julie Valentine Center offers support to victims of abuse in many different ways. Here’s just a taste of some of the great work they are doing.
For the third year in a row, The Haro Group of Keller Williams is the presenting sponsor for the Run2Overcome for The Julie Valentine Center – our local rape crisis and child abuse center. This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 at Cleveland Park in downtown Greenville. You have a few different options when it comes to the race – the 10k starts at 7:30am, the 5k begins at 8:00am and the Kids Run will get started at 8:30am. Click here to register to run.
If you’re thinking, “There’s no way I can run three miles” – don’t worry we’ve got you covered! We’ve taken the liberty of attaching a link to a 6-week plan to help you get there. This plan is pretty basic and assumes that you don’t run at all yet. It will take you through six-weeks of training- slowly working your way up from 0-3 miles.
Not a runner? No problem. We’re also looking for people to volunteer at the race and to donate to support our team.
