Upstate Business Opportunities

Unique Times

It has been said, more than once at this point, that we find ourselves in unique times and circumstances living through COVID-19 and its resulting impact. It is likely that most of you reading this recall our country’s last financial crisis, spurred by a collapse in the housing market in 2008. Part of what makes our circumstances unique now is that, while we’ve all felt the weight of the economic downturn, the fundamentals of the housing market today are strong. Unlike a decade ago, the health of the housing market and responsible lending practices mean that it is STILL a great time to buy or sell real estate, and if you’re considering either, let us know how we can help you reach your goals here.

Not only are the underlying causes of these times of economic hardship unique, but the resulting challenges that face our community have come about quite differently than what most of us have previously experienced. The speed at which local businesses and other groups reacted to this global pandemic meant that many of our friends, neighbors, and loved ones found themselves facing the immediate and unexpected realities of decreased wages, indefinite furlough, and/or unemployment.

From day one, our mission has been to work heartily so that the communities that our Sovereign God has placed us in THRIVE! We recognize the importance and dignity of all types of work and the good that comes to the world through them. In other words…

We believe that ALL businesses are essential!
