Today I just wanted to give you all a quick market update on what we’ve been seeing lately in Greenville, SC.  It’s springtime and we have seen a record month, putting over 50 homes under contract in the last 30 days.

Sellers, this is an incredibly good time to get your house on the market because there isn’t a lot of inventory available for buyers to choose from.   Tons of buyers are searching for homes, but for the first time since I’ve been in real estate, the entire Greenville market is officially a seller’s market, which means we currently have fewer than three months of inventory on the market!   If you’re even thinking of selling, there’s a huge opportunity right NOW.

When I got into the business, we were in a buyer’s market all over the Upstate. We had six, seven, and even eight months of inventory.  That number has dipped significantly down to four months of inventory, which means if you’re a seller, it’s an amazing time to get your home on the market, particularly if you are in the lower price points. There are currently only 315 homes available in the $100,000 to $150,000 range.

Buyers, this is not a time to hesitate. You’ve got to jump in with both feet and be prepared to make an offer that wins. There’s a lot of competition for what’s available, and The Haro Group has experience in what it takes to come out winning.  It’s a great time, the market is hopping, and we’d love to help you.
