Here’s what buyers and sellers need to know about our market.
What’s going on in our housing market? First, removals were only up 3% year over year, as compared to the 66% increase we were at in January. This is really good news for sellers, meaning that not as much competition is in the market these days. Meanwhile, the number of homes sold year to date is down 10%. Demand is still there, but we need more homes to sell.
The average price is holding steady at $373,000, with the median price being around $311,000. This is still on the lower end for most of the states, making our area more affordable for more buyers. Finally, the average days on market held steady at around 48 days.
